The Strategy

For so long women have been told by society to shrink themselves—lose weight, dress in black, wear vertical stripes. Plus-size women have been under-served by the fashion industry their entire lives—and as a result—have been made to feel less than.

Through this branding process, we sought to create a fashion experience plus-size women have long been denied—an exciting, inspirational marketplace, with fashion celebrated as a mode of self-expression, leaving no stone unturned in matters of diversity.

We want the Insyze woman to express themselves, because self-expression is a basic human right.

The Creative Direction

They made us play “safe”, now it’s time to have fun!

In order to embrace self-expression as the cornerstone and guiding value of the brand, we played with colour, type and tone—throwing convention out the window. We created a bright and bold brand that is sassy, confident and altogether unapologetic in it’s desire to be seen.
